How many bumgenius nappies do you recommend for one child in nappies?

We recommend 24 nappies for washing every couple of days.

How many bumgenius nappies do you recommend for more than one child in nappies?

For twins or siblings, we recommend starting with 36 nappies and an additional 12 inserts.

Are inserts included with the nappy packages?

Two absorbent inserts are included with each nappy in the package. There is one newborn (mini) insert and a one-size insert (with snap buttons to adjust the sizing)

Can I choose my colors?

Will you include instructions for use and care of my new nappies?

Naturally, your nappy package is presented with comprehensive use and care instructions, as well as details for the nappy's 12 month warranty.

Where Bumgenius nappies are made?

Bumgenius nappies are made ethically in Egpyt and the USA.

How many times do I need to wash my nappies before I can use them?

With bumgenius nappies, just the once, same as you would for new towels and sheets. You don't need to build up absorbency in the nappies, but simply wash out the conditioners used in the manufacture of the fabrics.

 I'm not sure which style fastener to choose.  Do you have any advice?

The new bumgenius 4.0 features a new polyester hook and loop fastening which is strong, durable yet soft.   Hook and loop fastening is more adjustable, nice and quick and easy to do up and take off and do know that most dads (and mums!) will opt for it any day.

Snap buttons are a bit more fiddly, time consuming and don't  give quite the same perfect fit, but they wash and wear better over time than hook and loop fastening.  It's really a matter of personal preference with pros and cons for both styles. 

If you are using bumgenius from birth, and like the idea of snaps, have at least a few Velcro fastening nappies at hand because the crosses over tabs give a nicer fit for a newborn than the snaps.
