- Following the recommended care and instructions most parents find that 24 one-size nappies last for at least one child from birth to toilet training. Nappies wear out with washing - if you have less nappies in your stash and hence wash each one more often, they will wear out quicker. Regular tumble drying and bleaching will also significantly reduce the life of the nappies.
